The 7th annual Spinstock Flow Arts Festival took place yesterday at Coleman’s Park, its first time being held in that location.

With a focus on “flow arts”, or movement-based creative expression, the Spinstock schedule included tai chi, yoga, hula hooping, poi & staff, belly dance, and a spectacular fire dancing finale.

Artists and other vendors were on-site in the Festival Marketplace with a wide variety of wares.

Spinstock had its own hashtag to connect attendees via Instagram (you can check it out here).

Artist “Gem” was one of many vendors during the event selling custom artwork.

Food trucks including The Rogue Chef and Somehow Healthy were at the park to satisfy any flow arts-induced hunger pangs.

Did you miss this year’s Spinstock? Don’t worry, according to organizers, the festival will be back in 2020.

This year’s planning team was headed by Jandi Lea Goshert and included Markus L. Umberger, Brittany Hilton Eckert, John Tice, Keith Kotay, Holly O’Donnell, Brooke Goodman, and Valoreen Cardiff.
