This Saturday at the Lebanon YMCA is all about the kids.

Healthy Kids Day will be held Saturday, March 9, from 10am to 1pm, with plenty of events packed into that three hour window. (A brief ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 9:45am.)

WQIC will be broadcasting live from the event, with a ton of activities planned for attendees. A big focus is the resource fair which puts all types of Lebanon County groups and organizations front and center in a friendly and accessible format.

Zoo America will be there, too, with the attraction expected to be a real “hoot”.

Low-cost bike helmets and “Kid Card ID’s” (photo and fingerprint identification) will be available while supplies last.

Other activities include:

  • Children’s Crafts & Activities
  • Kids Obstacle Course
  • Book Corner
  • Car Seat Safety Education
  • Bicycle Safety
  • Family Swim
  • Balloon Animals
  • Vision Screening
  • Healthy Snacks

There is no cost or registration required.

For more details, the public is advised to contact the YMCA’s Brian Wolfe at bwolfe@lebanonymca.org. Healthy Kids Day is held in conjunction with support of the Community Health Council of Lebanon County.

A national Healthy Kids Day is scheduled for Saturday, April 27.
