According to a toxicology report, driver Kyann Ruth Schnoke was under the influence at the time of the January 20 crash that left her dead.
North Cornwall Township Police confirmed this morning that Schnoke had a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of 0.222 and a presence of marijuana in her system. The legal limit for BAC to be considered impaired driving is 0.08.

The crash occurred around 11:45 pm on January 20 and sparked a 3-alarm blaze in a building at 2240 Cumberland Street/Route 422 in North Cornwall Township.
Residents were safely removed from 2238 and 2240 W. Cumberland Street, but Schnoke was pronounced deceased at the scene by Deputy Coroner Leiby and transported to WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital.
Schnoke was a 2014 Graduate of Conrad Weiser Hiegh School and worked as a care giver in Womelsdorf. She was honored in a memorial service late last month in Myerstown.
According to a previous release, a witness had seen Schnoke’s white Ford Explorer moving at a high rate of speed eastbound on 422 towards Lebanon before it veered off the road and struck a tree and fence, ended up in the west side of the house, entering the living room.
