Here are the most recent food safety violations in Lebanon County, as documented by Pennsylvania’s Department of Agriculture.

Inspections are taken as a “snapshot” of the day and time, and should not necessarily be taken as overall indicators of an establishment’s cleanliness. Violations are often corrected prior to the inspector leaving the site. Restaurants were found to be in compliance unless otherwise noted.

Shelving under food items (potato chips) on a vendor’s display is lined with cardboard. Cardboard is not a cleanable surface and is stained.

Non-food contact surfaces (shelves under 1/2 gallon drinks in the walk-in cooler and the interior of bagged ice freezer) are not cleaned at a frequency to preclude accumulation of dirt and soil.

Double door located in the rear storage area of the food facility has a large gap and does not protect against the entry of insects, rodents, and other animals.

No sign or poster posted at the handwash sink in the employee toilet room to remind food employees to wash their hands.
