At the Women’s March of Philadelphia held last weekend, Lebanon Family Health got a shoutout for its Title X-funded family planning services by former Lebanon resident/Lebanon High graduate Yashira Rivera.
Also featured on the Lebanon Family health website, Rivera’s story shows how even a regular checkup can be life changing, or even life saving.

Although she has been working on the speech since 2017, this was the first time she’s shared it, and she says doing so at a larger rally or march was a dream come true.
Since being diagnosed with a potentially life-threatening auto immune disorder during a routine OB-GYN checkup, she’s felt like it’s her responsibility to express the importance of the services like that provided by Title X.
