As Nick Foles prepares for his next game, we can thank local optician Jim Mulligan of Bouquet Mulligan DeMaio that he does so with the greatest optical style possible.

LebTown spoke with Mulligan today to get the back story. It’s a great one, especially if you’re a Philly sports fan. The link to Foles came through WIP’s Howard Eskin, who has been wearing Oakley glasses for a while through a connection with the company’s rep in Philly. From time to time, Mulligan has helped the rep with lens, including for Eskin (you can see him wearing Oakely’s in his official WIP headshot).

After the Super Bowl win last year (41-33, Go Eagles) Foles was admiring Eskin’s glasses, which led to Nick being introduced to the Oakely rep and, well, the rest is history.

Mulligan even got to go to the training camp this fall as thanks for his help with the optical goodness.

In the past, Mulligan has also helped athletes from the Hershey Bears and Philadelphia Flyers with their optical needs.

Bouquet Mulligan DeMaio Eye Professionals is located at 233 W Penn Ave in Cleona.
